Pogo Pro - will this work.....

Does anyone have any experience of using the minipcie slot on the pogopro for anything other than the wifi card that it comes with?

I was wondering if anyone on here has use the slot to mount additional hdd's. i could have totally lost the plot on this one, but will this sata adaptor work in this unit?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/95233-DeLOCK-MiniPCIe-I-O-PCIe-full-size-2-x-SATA-6-Gb-s-/400537101913?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item5d41df2659

does anyone have any experience of using such a setup?

I can envisage a situation where i may need to lump 4 hdd's into a unit and this in conjunction with a sata port multiplier attached to the onboard sata would be ideal....

any thoughts? comments? observations?

all feedback appreciated.

Although I haven't tried it, based on an inspection of the back of the motherboard you would need a half-size version of a mini-PCI-e to SATA card like this: http://www.amazon.com/Bplus-PM1061-SATAIII-mini-PCIE-Adapter/dp/B00CF5Y8BK/ref=pd_cp_pc_1.. Make sure it is not a m-SATA card which looks similar.and is like this: http://www.amazon.com/Micro-SATA-Cables-mSATA-Adapter/dp/B009UDAINW/ref=pd_cp_pc_2

The card would be close to the power supply. You should still be able to use both connectors, definitely if you ran the cables through holes on the Pro's case.

I've attached a picture of the backside of a Pro's MB so you can see. I also have attached a picture of the board in case I found on the interwebs.

Edit: Wow, M-factors even has RAID versions for sale: http://www.mfactors.com/sata-adapter/
