VPN Server

anyone used plug device as a vpn server / router?

any gotchas to look out for?

I've got OpenWRT on one, but you know my skill level. Since that's flashed to NAND I can't Guinea pig dangerous tests, but if there's enough interest I could turn my attention to configuration. There's an extremely efficient use of RAM with openWRT, and the GUI makes you want to go nuts with possibilities.

What did you have on mind for application? I can stay out of your hair if I'd be slowing you down.

if you could do a write up i am sure it will help others and me with the openwrt side of things

it will probably make it into the wiki or howto that bodhi maintians
i knew one day you would be able to offer something back :)

Oh-oh you didn't mention OpenWRT did you? I made it up LOL

A search for VPN with OpenWRT got interesting results, so for now, is your OpenWRT installed? It boots to Debian sticks so even if we abandon this at least it's more fun fer free!

I'm days away from wrapping-up some projects so I'll give it a week before proceeding and research in my spare time.

Yeah Qui's tutorial installed this in minutes. Really, really neat to look at. I haven't touched much, but I like what I'm touching.

I'm using OpenVPN with PogoPlug in TUN and TAP modes. Everything works as expected.
