If anyone here can recommend a good Ethernet cable tester, I sure will appreciate that. So far, I have narrowed down to two as shown below:
  1. Professional Network Cable Tester RJ45 RJ11 RJ12 CAT5 UTP LAN Cable Tester Networking Tool
  2. Mini RJ45 RJ11 Cat5 Network LAN Cable Tester with Keychain 9 LEDs

a good cable tester is/are made by FLUKE

however if all you want to do is test cable connections and cross overs as opposed to T.D.R. then either of those will do the job
