Any thoughts about external 128GB instead of Flash Drive?

Hi

I just saw some really in-expensive (cheap?) external SSD, e.g

Are they faster than usb 3 flash drives on a Pogoplug E02 or on a GoFlex net? Could I safely put a swap on them? Most importantly: Can I boot from them? I didn't manage to boot from an Apple SSD (256GB) in a Transcend housing, possibly because the "non-aligned partition" messages in fdisk which I did not manage to get rid of?

Any ideas?

You lucky bastards in the US - here they are 70 Euro upwards. And Amazon has the record:

LOL ... You may wanna get it from AliExpress. Just beware that what you see on AliExpress does not necessarily constitute to what you will get, especially when it comes to SD and/or microSD cards.

Seriously: I think I might try out this cheap 256 SSD Intenso 3822440 256GB USB 3.0 Portable Tragbare Externe SSD ( Solid State Drive) Festplatte anthrazit to replace my 256 GB 2.5 hdd on my music server to reduce power consumption.
