Not that bad a deal if you consider the display is multi touch.

Add new hard drive, clone old one, Net Limiter firewall, 3rd-party media player, Avast Antivirus, Ghostery and have a great time :-)

May as well dual boot to Mint because any new hard drive will be minimum 500 GB and that's a great balance me thinks.
