If you had a MicroCenter store nearby, you can get very inexpensive MicroCenter brand microSD cards. I have been using the 32 GB MicroCenter microSD cards on my rpi0 for almost a year as an NFS drive to do text processing with LaTEX and have yet to encounter a problem.

For sure a great deal. I don't have a MicroCenter within 50 miles and for running a light OS on a micro SD, 16GB is usually plenty for me.
