Cable-Internet segment load measurements

I have a Raspberry Pi B+ for different purposes.
Recently I revitalized my bricked Dockstar using the Pi to drive the Dockstar JTAG port.
After that the B+ was not used any longer.

Now the B+ is used to measure cable-internet load on my coax-cable-internet port.
Since all users in one "cable-segment" share the bandwidth sometimes segments are overcrowded....

I have attached a "DVBSKY T330" clone DVB-C USB-stick to the B+ to read out the information.

Code (mainly Bash-script) is from here:

https://github.com/sp4rkie/docsis-cable-load-monitor

Possibly it is necessary to adopt some parameter, in europe, the DVB-C channels have a width of 8 MHz, in USA it is 6 MHz afaik ...
