dpf-ax: unsupported dpf - requests

Hello Superelchi,

found a Keenox 2.4'' DPF at a friends house.
Seems that this one is unknown too.

One of these firmwares MAY work for your dpf.

I tested the dx104500 and dx104838_2 but they don't work

The acme_8-0.42 firmware I found here works, but everything is upside down !!!

Only brightness control doesn't work:
Settings: 1-18 no difference, 19 little darker, 20+21 black Display

now its black from 1-4 , 5 works , 6 little brighter , 7-21 no differenz

So - more or less the same as with the first version...
Could you please try this test fw?
I do not think it will work - but who knows :)

you're thinking wrong. This one works as it should.
No black screen and setting 1 is the darkest.

What do yo mean by "blinking"?
Does the hole backlight go on and off with a visual frequency?

I tried fw_linkdelight.bin. It works but the diplay is flickering in a high frequency and the image looks a little bit unsharp in gray areas. I have attached the dump file. It would be very great if you can help me (again) if possible.

Did you use the newest dpf-ax package from sf (dpf-ax_20131028.tgz)?
Identify.py from this package recognizes your dump correctly as "dhgate" compatible.

Brightness is OK, but i don't see any effect on contrast - 1 and 7 seem to be identical. Anyway it hacked ok.

No effect on contrast change seem to be "normal". ;)
Dont know why they implement this on such cheap LCDs. But if it is in the original fw, I use it. At least it does not hurt. :)
I will add this dpf to the list of supported ones.

Glad to hear this. I will add this dpf as xp1000.

Changing the splash screen (needs Linux!):
use "setsplash.sh" in the "tools" directory.
