Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try a parted magic live boot next time with picocom and copy one line at a time. But just one last question about the copy/paste, should I be able to see the whole pasted line in the terminal before I execute it? Because I sure didn't last time, but I can confirm that the COM settings were matched to what you referenced bodhi.by cadre - Debian
Okay, so I need some advice or direction because I must be doing something wrong. I'm following the instructions on page 7 for Section A, which I have completed through 6, but it will never boot and just gets into a loop. So what I think I'm doing wrong in both parts 3b and 6 for setting the environment variables, I don't believe I can copy and paste the code correctly. I canby cadre - Debian
This is probably a stupid question, but I wanted to ask anyway just to be sure. I'm using a Pogo-E02 running wheezy and the linux-4.1.0-kirkwood-tld-1 kernel along with the 2016.05 U-Boot version. Still running wheezy, can I upgrade directly to the latest kernel (4.12.1) or would/should I be on a Jessie rootfs before using that 4.12.1 kernel? Thanksby cadre - Debian
I had similar troubles but for what it's worth when I installed the pogoplug backup software. Only to launch it and click web access taking me to the exact same webpage. Then I could actually set and enable SSH. Might be worth a shot?by cadre - uBoot
I just need a little help or clarification. I've got a Pogo-E02 that I've installed Jeff's uBoot successfully. Although I'm currently not boot and running an OS off a USB drive, I'd like to play with the pogoplug services and try to mount the /dev/mtdblock3 partition to install optware. I have done this successfully, but only with a stock un-altered Pogo-E02, followinby cadre - uBoot
Alright, I did manage to fix this problem. I simply remounted the /dev/root mount as read write. mount -o remount,rw /dev/root dowloaded the fw_printenv file from jeff's mirror website. changed it's permissions to 755 and overwrote the old version to the /usr/sbin folder then changed the mount back to read only mount -o remount,ro /dev/root I've rebooted the system aby cadre - uBoot
I've got a problem, I can't run fw_printenv without getting "permission denied" I tried to install Jeff's uboot script last night on a brand new POGO-E02 but midway through the script my internet connection dropped and stayed out for over 5 minutes. When the internet feed came back up the script would not recover so I was forced to issue a Ctrl+C and stopped the scripby cadre - uBoot
