@bodhi, i didn't have much time to test the bluetooth much during the weekend. I am using a USB Beewi Bluetooth adapter. The device seems to get initialized (since the led indicator blinks) and the hciconfig -a command produces the following output hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB BD Address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx ACL MTU: 310:10 SCO MTU: 64:8 UP RUNNING PSCANby denexo - Debian

@bodhi, You are da man! I will never stop thanking you for all your efforts! Your are a brilliant example of community giver.by denexo - Debian
bodhi, thank you so so much for your latest kernel (once again). I am really grateful for all your work! I just upgraded to your 3.18.5 kernel. I have a question: is there support for bluetooth devices? My goal is to setup a bluetooth a2dp audio sink and output audio through a connected usb soundcard. Using the lsusb command i can see that my bluetooth receiver is properly recognized: Buby denexo - Debian
bodhi, i got a bit lazy and didn't try the ext4load option... I reformatted the disk to ext3 and everything worked fine. I also managed to properly edit the boot envs (by checking the kept backup) and got the nand rescue system working. I might try to check ext4 rootfs loading with a spare hdd i have.by denexo - uBoot
bodhi, it was very explanatory! Will try later on this day. So from what i understand i will have to interrupt the boot and then try the ext4load.by denexo - uBoot
@bodhi, thanks very much for confirming! Will try as soon as i go home and try! Another quick question: i saw that your U-BOOT supports ext4 rootfs. I preparerd a sata drive with first partition named 'rootfs' and ext4 filesystem, but seeing netconsole messages, i saw error messages that it couldn't find /boot/kernel and /boot/uImage. I didn't have time to dig deeper at thby denexo - uBoot
@bodhi, i recently acquired a GFN to play with. I install Jeff's script in order to install uboot (http://projects.doozan.com/uboot/install_uboot_mtd0.sh) and Jeff's script again to install rescue system in the nand (http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/rescue/install_rescue.sh). With netconsole i saw that the uboot that was installed was 2011.xx .Rescue worked just fine with no usb attacheby denexo - uBoot
@bodhi, as i told you earlier, i was sure that you had applied the patch correctly the first time ;) We can only wait for the new vanilla kernel and test! @shv, thank you very much for your kind offer! Fact is that i have my webcam working using v4l and motion at the moment, so i am not in that a big need for a working uvcvideo.by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, maybe the patch isn't working. I am sure you patched everything correct in the first place!by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, thanks once again for your effort! I installed patched kernel but i get same result...i get no image on mjpg_streamer when using the input_uvcvideo.so . I really hope i am not doing something wrong. Could someone else please check also?by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, you already have done very much! Take your time and when you compile the kernel i will test it ;)by denexo - Debian
@Andy1888, it actually works !!! This version creates thumbnails properly! Most probably newer version use a different ffmpeg arguments command line, which requires a lot of trial and error in order to find out. Thanks very much !by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, if it is not a trouble for you, could you please make a testing 3.17 kernel with the above mentioned uvcvideo patches? I could try its working status ;)by denexo - Debian
@Andy1888, could you please provide the link for your version? Also did you follow any specific instructions to change from init to systemd? Did you have to change something at u-boot parameters?by denexo - Debian
In my.pogoplug.com i can only see place boxes for images. There are no preview thumbnails unfortunatelyby denexo - Debian
@Andy1888, i am glad it worked for you too. I wasn't aware of the systemd package at Debian. Thanks for pointing out! One thing i have noticed is that the ffmpeg executable inside the tar doesn't work since it doesn't create thumbnails. Did you by any chance make it work?by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, will try the new 3.17 kernel and will get back with results regarding the uvcvideo. Really hope the issue has been fixed! EDIT 1: Just tested it with no luck again this time. It seems like the issue remains with kernel 3.17 (as already have read after googling a bit). Went back to my good old motion and v4l :D EDIT 2: The issue seems to have been solved http://git.linuxtv.org/cgiby denexo - Debian
I am sorry for the delay for posting the instructions. So to begin with: the main instructions as found here: http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=3343&sid=10bdcbbfb59816cd90ec2496fce86f17 are still valid. You still need to follow them in terms of testing the functionality and setting up the svcid. Only thing that changes is the procedure to install the executable and run iby denexo - Debian
I have successfully managed to run my.pogoplug.com service on my Debianized Pogoplug Pro. @grayman4hire, Are you still interested for instructions?by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, i would like to express my gratitude for your efforts. With your last kernel 3.16.0-4, i have all v4l2, uvc and snd modules working. All these just after the reboot! I can now stream image from my camera using motion and v4l2 and i can also hear my mp3s through the logitech usb speakers i have attached (c-media chipset). Thanks again! P.S. uvcvideo seems not to be working with mjpg-by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, did you by any chance had the time to look the diff file attached on my previous post?by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, i still didn't manage to load the needed modules for the camera. Though i managed to surpass the error regarding the i2c. I attach the diff file from your 3.16.0-3 config and mine, after making all the configurations needed for uvc to work. In order to make the camera work ones has to load the following modules with the exact order as written: v4l2-core/videodev.ko , v4l2-core/v4by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, thank you very much! I am trying right now and will get back with results! EDIT: vpn to home doesn't work at the moment.by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, I would like to thank you once again for all your efforts! I will try today to create a .diff file from your config and mine.by denexo - Debian
@bodhi, i downloaded the 3.16 linux kernel, patched it with your patch, copied the Module.symver after installing the headers .deb, copied your config after renaming it to .config and run menuconfig. I enabled all the needed modules in Device Drivers and did a "make m=drivers/i2c" for starters. I try to insmod the module but i get the following error: Error: could not insert modulby denexo - Debian
@bodhi, thanks very much for the guidance! Will try and revert with results.by denexo - Debian
Dear Bodhi, first of all i would like to thank you for all your work. Your U-BOOT and your kernel gave a new life to my abandoned Pogoplug Pro. I even managed to get the my.pogoplug.com service working after updating to your latest 3.16.0 kernel! I also tried to setup Pogoplug Pro as a surveillance system with a Logitech C310 webvcam attached along with mjpeg-streamer with no success though. Theby denexo - Debian
