Cool! Will try it soon If it possible to boot stock os from it. Is there any changelog?by xssa - uBoot
@bodhi Lets check if this overlayfs trickwill work for you do all as root ~#mount /dev/sda1 /mnt ~#touch /mnt/writable-cow/etc/ssh/.wh.sshd_not_to_be_run ~#chmod 444 /mnt/writable-cow/etc/ssh/.wh.sshd_not_to_be_run ~#umount /mnt reboot to stock thinprolinuxby xssa - Debian
@bodhi I have one with stock and ssh running well. There was some trick to enable it. I'll look for... To enable sshd you have to remove file /etc/ssh/sshd_not_to_be_run There is a code fragment from /etc/init.d/ssh who deal with it ... check_for_no_start() { # forget it if we're trying to start, and /etc/ssh/sshd_not_to_be_run exists if [ -e /etc/ssh/sshd_not_to_beby xssa - Debian

As i was working with sst25vfxxx SPI flash and other SPIs compatible with 25p80 generic driver in linux few years ago, i can state they use different determination and access methods. Anyone can google datasheets and find differences. Somebody knows last kernel can read mx25l8005 w/o errors?by xssa - Debian

Can state that SPI reading on the last kernels are broken - data taken from mtdX partitions does not match original at all. So managing uboot envs is impossible on last kernels. I'm running stock uboot, kernels 4.4.0, 4.5.0, 4.5.2. SPI flash is mx25l8005 (from dmesg)by xssa - Debian
bodhi, Is it possible to setup ledtrig-ide-disk to monitor not only SATA1 activity but both SATA1 and SATA2? For now green led blinks only on SATA1. Thank You.by xssa - Debian

My method to add SATA harddrive to thin client HP T5325 is a slightly modified method described on here. Changes are focused on to preserving case modification and it's servicability. For modifications we need: - 4 pcs. AC coupling 10nF capacitors for SATA datalines in 0402 SMD package. I use capacitors with corresponding dimentions and similar purpose found near SATA connectors on theby xssa - Debian
Finaly got it! Booting kernel-4.4.0 with embedded latest kirkwood-t5325.dtb and its uInitrd in /boot and viola!!! rootfs on /dev/sdb4 mounted as expected with label=rootfs. Hello men. This great topic i found few months ago, clean dust from mine brand new but forgotten T5325 and follow up from it's original HP system. You are doing great job hacking this device. Due lack of time and some wires only now I manage to setup this box with external sata harddrive: HP>> ide reset Reset IDE: Marvell Serial ATA Adapter Integrated Sata device foundby xssa - Debian
