As an aside: I tried booting Arch again and that gives me a kernel panic when it tries to mount the rootfs. I checked the disk layout and label and it seems fine. It's no big deal really, just a remark.by Bubble - Debian
Changing the default envs did the trick, Debian now successfully boots. I even updated to the latest kernel. Thanks!by Bubble - Debian
Hello guys, I'm having a similar problem as craigcoffman, but didn't want to mess with his topic. Booting Debian on my pogoplug ends with the line "Starting kernel ..." and an orange light. Arch is booting fine, but I'd prefer a more static distro for this plug. I first followed instructions like so: # tar -xjf ../Downloads/Debian-4.12.1-kirkwood-tld-1-roby Bubble - Debian
