@davygravy, just wanted to say THANK YOU! for posting this tutorial. I followed the Dec 23-11 version of the tutorial and can confirm that it works with a Pogoplug V2 (Pink) and the TP-Link TL-WN821N V2. Also, two quick questions: 1. Any tips for adding a second wifi adapter to use in client mode? I'd like to have my Pogostick connect to my gateway router wirelessly. 2. What exactby MediaMind - Debian
Hey Everyone, Thanks for sharing the tips for getting USB sound up and running. I've recently installed MOC (music on console) which is a lightweight but full-featured console-based music player. Seems to work really well with the Dockstar and the $2 USB audio adapter that petergunn suggested. To install: apt-get install moc To run: mocp I find that using MOC is pretty intuitiveby MediaMind - Debian

Vlad59, could you provide more info about installing nginx and dokuwiki. Did you use a specific guide or do you have any tips? Thanks - any info is much appreciated!by MediaMind - Debian
Thanks for sharing this hack twinpeaks! Quick question: there appears to be lots of different USB keypads on ebay - while I'm sure most of them will work for this hack, I'd love to know the exact one you're using...by MediaMind - Debian

Yes, ddclient seems to work well. Fyi, my router is running DD-WRT firmware. DD-WRT has Dynamic DNS support which I was originally using to update my hostname via DynDNS but I've recently installed ddclient on the Docksby MediaMind - Debian
Alright, so I decided to install the unmodified openvpn install script from the blog that petergunn referenced in his first post and now everything seems to work, even after multiple reboots. Here's the workflow... First, download and launch the script: cd /tmp wget http://vpsnoc.com/scripts/debian-openvpn.sh cd /tmp chmod +x dbian-openvpn.sh ./debian-openvpn.sh After the keys hby MediaMind - Debian

Thanks petergunn for the link to your other setup scripts - they look VERY useful! Quick question for you: My OpenVPN setup was working well until I rebooted my Dockstar. As of now, I'm still able to establish a VPN connection with the Dockstar from my Ubuntu 10.10 laptop (from an outside network) and ssh into the Dockstar but I can no longer use a browser (Chrome, Firefox) to access thby MediaMind - Debian
