I seem to have lost the backup image I made of the SSD when I first started playing with this device. Would anyone happen to have a copy they wouldn't mind uploading? I'm mostly looking for an intact copy of the /kbox directory so I can pick it all apart again. Thanks Oh, and this is my board's readout. Could be wrong... root@M300:~# gpiodetect gpiochip0 (32 lines) gpby JDS420 - Debian
More from another script: public static function LEDOff() { self::LEDControl('off', $white=false); self::LEDControl('off', $white=true); } // state = 'on' | 'off' | 'blink' public static function LEDControl($state = 'on', $white=true) { $color = $white ? 'white' : 'orange&by JDS420 - Debian
There's a php/? script in the kbox directory that controls the led status and color. Might it have the GPIO pins listed in it? Part of the LED functions: private function _led($args) { $this->_ledstatus($args); } private function _ledstatus($args) { echo PlatformUtility::LEDStatus(); } private function _ledon($args) { echo Platfby JDS420 - Debian
I haven't noticed it exposed on the board. And as far as the sources go, good luck. Dell kept this thing locked down until they decided to abandon it altogether. When they did that, they pretty much wrote off as much of it's existence as they could. If they're to be found they'd most likely be in here on on this server somewhere... opensource.dell.comby JDS420 - Debian

I'll give it another try with different timings. Is there a way to delay uboot from starting right away; like a delayed boot envar?by JDS420 - Debian
No, most of the time the commands being sent interrupted the normal boot and left it at the uboot promptby JDS420 - Debian

@renojim There is a script that's available from the intended OS that watches the reset switch. It doesn't do anything unless the device is set up through the web interface. And when pressed, it just rewrites all the .kbox_backup files over the original. For example: It replaces uImage with uImage.kbox_backup and uInitrd with uInitrd.kbox_backup #!/kbox/bin/daemonwrapper /usr/bin/envby JDS420 - Debian
For anyone who wants to know, the serial pinout is written right above the header in my picture. Edit: the 3rd part is a swap partitionby JDS420 - Debian

I indeed picked them up on eBay for about 20 a piece. They're beautiful devices made out of machined aluminum over a steel frame so they have some heft to them. I figured if all else failed that I'd get a nice chunk of aluminum, an SSD, cat5 cable, and a power adapter. Man, I knew I was on the right track when I found a picture of the Verbatim Mediashare, but I instead gave up afterby JDS420 - Debian
