Hi, My old debian installation for my Goflex Home is dieing because of to many bad blocks on the USB stick. So I tried to Install a fresh image to a new USB stick like described in section "Updated 31 Oct 2014:" But the system don't boot from the new stick. I've watched on serial console while starting and the boot process stops at line: Uncompressing Linux...by dharry - Debian
I tire to get a PVR-Server (based on debian and tvheaden) working on my goflex home. But terratec cinergy dvb-s2 usb stick isn't working on my old kernel. Has someone a new (working) kernel package (>= 3.0) for download?by dharry - Debian
I think status quo for MythTV (Frontend) is it's only running on x86 and there is no port to any other platfrom (yet). But you can use XBMC with PVR Addon. The PVR Addon supports diffrent Backends (tvheadend, vdr and even mythtv). XBMC is already ported to raspberry pi, but i don't know if pvr addon is included in the port.by dharry - Debian
Hello, a few days ago my rootfs USB-Stick fails to boot because of currupt sektion. fsck doesn't help. I tried to copy the partition to an other usb stick, but there are too much files missing. Next I tried to download the debian base image an copy it to my new USB-Stick (ext2 partition with lable rootfs, bootflag, additional swap partition). The image stopped booting with error messagby dharry - Debian
Hello, fw_printenv gives me "Bad CRC". So I can not give you my actual parameters from u-boot. But I had to change (boot partition and boot args) from sda (goflex's harddisk) to sdb (first USB-Stick).by dharry - Debian
I've installed the kernel as described above and changed a lot of uboot variables (root partition, boot_cmd, ...). Now I have a running debian (from USB-Stick) with working SATA on Goflex Home. For other GoFlex Home Users: I've needed a serial connection to my GoFlexm, for changing the uboot vars (netconsole dosen't work for me). My Goflex Home has only eyelets (no pins, liby dharry - Debian
Hello, I've got now this uboot running http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/goflex/v0.5/goflexnet.kwb. If i start my debian (via run usb_boot) I get an error from the kernel about wrong arcNumber (c11 in hex or 3089 in decimal = Goflex Net). So my Kernel dont support this arcNumber. If I change the arcNumber with "setenv arcNumber" and "saveenv", I still get the message.by dharry - Debian
Hello, i've got a Goflex Home and I would like install Debian on the Goflex Home. I've heard the original Goflex Home uboot support booting from USB, is this true? Is there already a Debian install with SATA support for Goflex Home or are there any plans for it? Is the kenrel modul (and may other needed parts) for Goflex Net the same as for the Goflex Home?by dharry - Debian
