I have actually managed to resolve this with a lot of effort to track down the issue. The application is HomeAutomation which is webbased with a MySQL backend, and works with Telldus Tellsticks. I will post instructions on how to do this in the near future It was possible to submit AT jobs from the app or commandline, but they would not execute, but stick in the running state. On my Pogoplug, I followed the instructions on this site to install debian, and it's running as a web server very sucessfully. I have installed a web based Home Automation app, called homeautomation, which executes schedules as AT jobs submitted as the www-data user. The jobs do not complete and just get stuck in the running state. The only error I see is in the syslog which reports anby gazza_d - Debian

I have actually installed transmission and a web based file manager called ajaxplorer. what i was after, if it exists, was a suite which combined the functions i described in a common unified web based UI, with single credentials. Similar to the apps i mentioned but not dependant on a 3rd party. Guess there isn't one as I have been unable to find one. Thanby gazza_d - Debian
OK, this may seem odd, possibly not. I bought a pogoplug to run as a headless low-power server, initially as my Mythtv Master backend. I have rejigged my plans a bit since buying it and installing Debian, and I have left my Mythtv backend where it is, and use the Pogoplug to send a WOL packet to the mythtv box to wake it up. It works really well, and I have a web page on the pogoplug whichby gazza_d - Debian
I too have moved my Mythtv Backend to run on on of these devices, in my case a pink Pogoplug (which is one reason why it's out of site!). Installation was extremely easy. I am using PCI tuners in a slave backend - next job is to rebuild that box, and move the storage to the Pogoplug, and then to get everything working with WakeonLan to reduce power usage -hoping to recup the cost ofby gazza_d - Debian
