is there simple guide to securing SSH on debian/dockstar? like disable ssh from any host after couple failed attempts or any other solution to help with this.. One thing that comes to my mind is i change default port 22 to something else... Is there simple step by step guide to install any good USB automount package, basically drives are mounted an unmouted automatically when removed? right i just went to that site and i did set up Samba and i was able to share drives and map on another computer. I had to manually mount each drive. USBmount does not seem to auto map ntfs drives. It did mount debian drive though, i did add ntfs and ntfs-3g in usbmount config. still no luck. I tried debian squeeze again and this time it went quite far in whatever it was doing but it aborted at one point and my dockstar would keep flashing orange after reboot. Then i decided to debian lenny and looks like it installed fine and after reboot i changed password. Now big questions if i have USB drive connected that i want to access from windows computer, what do i need to do? i trieby exenew - Debian
Guys i have been using dockstart for over year and finally decided to give this a shot. I dont know much or almost nothing on linux so please help me.. I have Dockstar running for about 6-8 months and has been working fine using either on LAN or via pogo site. I just come across that i could install Linux on this (not worked on Linux before). Can someone give high level and guide to right path or instructions for installing linux on it?by exenew - uBoot
