Hi, @chessplayer thanks for your response I've found that my arcNumber was not to 3338 (goflex home) so i modify it with my serial console and then i can boot my 'old custom' 2.6.38 kernel ! so the arcNumber play in my boot problem. Hi, I've just updated to new uboot on my goflex home by following the manual direction given by vlad my uboot envirroment was reseted at default before upgrade i was using a custom kernel 2.6.38 with several modules and iscsi so first i put by fw_setenv some vars in order boot for ide /dev/sda1 but i cannot from: my custom kernel 2.6.38, it freeze just after 'starting kernby pemmafr - Debian
Hi Vlad the kernel + initrd is the result of a mkimage of an initrd+kernel on the same file. Hello, you're right man it's a kernel problem ! i was installing from arch linux with kernel 3.0-arch (i think i ve make a pacman update as mentionnened on arch linux wiki) after reading on the web it seems that debootstap failed with this new number (on severals distrib) So i make a new usb key from arch linux (lastest.tgz) and extract to an usb key.
