Hi, I don't know. After reading tons of hints in the internet, hours and hours in SSH and finally a bricked dockstar, I gave my dockstar away. The CA-42 costs around 5$, thats half the price of your dockstar :) so I didn't try a serial connection.by noplan - Debian
Sorry, you're right, I did dd if=mtd0.img of=/dev/mtd0 Maybe there was really a problem with the NAND flash...by noplan - Debian
Thanks for the help. The IP should be the same, I've used the dockstar with the original Pogoplug service/tools before I installed Debian, and my DHCP didn't show a new IP. In the meantime I have bricked my dockstar. Someone in another forum said, I can copy back my backup-files with "dd if=/dev/mtd0 of=mtd0.img" (for all 4 files). After I did this, the dockstar was dead. Nby noplan - Debian
I've successfully installed Debian Sqeeze (thanks to jeff :) ). But now, Plug OS does not start when the USB stick is removed. The LED flashes a while in green, then a while in orange, then green again an so on (tried it for about 12 hours, nothing happens). When I plug the stick to it and reboot it, it starts Debian. Whats wrong with it?! Everything works fine except booting into Plug OSby noplan - Debian
