I upgraded the one with the fatal error to your kernel, and it had the same error. Running modprobe first fixed it.by lincomatic - Debian
It's working great now, thanks! I had to put it in /lib/modules/3.x.x/kernel to make it work. So this only works with 3.x.x kernels? It works with your 3.2.28-kirkwood-tld kernel, but when I try to use it in my other pogoplug, which is running the original 2.6.32-5-kirkwood kernel, it fails root@pogo:/lib/modules/2.6.32-5-kirkwood/kernel# modprobe r8712u FATAL: Module r8712u not fouby lincomatic - Debian
bodhi, thanks for the response. Sorry, I mistyped. My USB WiFi is Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:8172 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8191SU 802.11n WLAN Adapter and needs the r8712uby lincomatic - Debian
Sorry if this question is too noobish, but it's been years since I've done anything w/ Linux kernels. I'm trying to get a USB WiFi adapter working w/ my Pogo E02, and it needs the r8192cu module. I found instructions here on how to compile the driver, but it's missing some details on critical steps, e.g. where is the drivers directory that you're supposed to put the soby lincomatic - Debian
Thank you, bodhi! With arcNumber=3542 and machid=dd6, /proc/cpuinfo now shows Pogoplug E02, and /sys/class/leds has status:green:health and status:orange:fault and the green LED automatically turns on when it's booted, so I don't have to manually fiddle w/ the LED's in /etc/rc.local. OK, great. But just for reference, what's the proper arcNumber for Pogo E02? I tried 2097 and also 3542 as recommended here: http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2780 and it /proc/cpuinfo still shows it as Marvell SheevaPlug Reference Board.by lincomatic - Debian

Hmm. I have arcNumber=2097, it's an E02, and the LED's work as above, but cat /proc/cpuinfo doesn't mention Pogoplug E02: Processor : Feroceon 88FR131 rev 1 (vby lincomatic - Debian
Thanks! It's working great. I am now able to toggle the orange LED with echo default-on >/sys/class/leds/status\:blue\:health/trigger echo none >/sys/class/leds/status\:blue\:health/trigger and the green LED with echo default-on >/sys/class/leds/status\:green\:health/trigger echo none >/sys/class/leds/status\:green\:health/trigger /sys/class/leds/plug:red:misc doby lincomatic - Debian
Thanks for re-uploading it. I am running wheezy, and I get this error when trying to install your kernel: Running depmod. bodhi, I tried "echo default-on > /sys/class/leds/plug:green:health/trigger" (I added the trigger part) to turn on the green LED and nothing happens on mine. Can you point me to where to download your kernel? Thanksby lincomatic - Debian
