*EDIT* It was a faulty LAN cable. Damn! Now I get 600/700Mbit/s :) --------------------- Hi, I'm experiencing some strange slow-downs. If I do iperf -s on the computer, and run the client in the Dockstar, I get >600Mbits/s. But if I do from computer to the dockstar, it only shows 10-25Mbits/s, and fluctuates a lot. I tried with different routers with the same result. Running ipby David - Debian
I hadn't saw the instructions, maybe I did it too quick ;). Instead, I had saw the kernel instructions for an older kernel , so it differ a bit in the file names. I thought that a lot of people doesn't even know how to correct it, so I modified it for the new kernel, good for dummies :P I've finished the setup ,it works PERFECT with my setup (IT9135 DVB-T tuner and tvheadend) eby David - Debian
Thanks for the update. I'm going to try it asap with my dvb-t tuner. For who doesn't know how to install the 3.9.11 kernel: tar -xjf linux-3.9.11-kirkwood-tld-1-bodhi.tar.bz2 dpkg -i linux-image-3.9.11-kirkwood-tld_1_1.0_armel.deb dpkg -i linux-headers-3.9.11-kirkwood-tld_1_1.0_armel.deb mkimage -A arm -O linux -T kernel -C none -a 0x00008000 -e 0x00008000 -n Linux-3.9.11-kirkwooby David - Debian
I had a disk image of my dockstar debian installation. Unfortunately, I deleted it by accident. Tried your rootfs, its working! You made me save a lot of time, thanks bodhi!by David - Debian
root@debian:~# uname -a Linux debian 3.6.11-kirkwood-tld #1 PREEMPT Sun Mar 31 01:19:22 PDT 2013 armv5tel GNU/Linux root@debian:~# uptime 12:53:16 up 23 days, 17:47, 1 user, load average: 1.97, 1.85, 1.24 Wow...definitely this kernel is working great! :)by David - Debian
Well the leds were working. It was just the first time after flash, who knows! After that it lasted 24h and dead :P. No longer booting at all. I suspect disk corruption. Anyway, I reinstalled everything, working ok for now. Thanks bodhi!by David - Debian
Working on my dockstar, the only thing bad is the LED activity (stays green since power-on, no led activity). By the way, I'm running only transmission, tightvncserver and lxde desktop. Running debian from a 500GB usb HDD. Thanks! :)by David - Debian
It's me again. With the gogo-dock script the led stays solid orange. I also resetted the Uboot enviroment, tried dhcp and static IP... no way! **EDIT** I didn't see this before: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,11396 I'm trying again with debian squeeze right now.. **EDIT 2** Yes! It worked! Do not reboot after the installation, and do what is said on the ^^^^by David - Debian
