bodhi, thanks for explaining. Now we are a step closer to the finish line since you have the box on your side ;)by JohnnyUSA - Debian
That's really good news bodhi, now it will be way easier to troubleshoot things! PS: Excuse my ignorance, but what's the use of the file you've just uploaded here? Basically, if we destroy our u-boot, we can recover with the one you've just posted?by JohnnyUSA - Debian

@bodhi, thing is, i've tested Pengu's rootfs myself and had the same problem.by JohnnyUSA - Debian

Finally home and i've tried superelchi's solution with phypoke and fixed ip, works like a charm. So, until you guys work out something better, i'm happy with what we have at the moment ;) Cheers! PS: It seems my box doesn't want to resume after power loss and i wonder what can i do to solve this.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
@bodhi, I have one on my phone, i can send it to you. Just PM me your e-mail. Phone is the only thing i have with me since i'm away.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
Yay! Glad i was able to help on this matter even with insignifiant contribution (my extraterestrial download speed on zyxel sorces) :))by JohnnyUSA - Debian
Sorry guys can't test this weekend, i'm away from my NAS.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
Finished downloading the GPL sources. ZyXEL 310S GPL sources soon up on mirrors. Gonna PM you guys (@bodhi, @superelchi) with links.by JohnnyUSA - Debian

bodhi, this one worked fine, debian booted but still no link at coldboot. Cheers!by JohnnyUSA - Debian
bodhi, tried the new dtb file: Starting kernel ... Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. Error: unrecognized/unsupported machine ID (r1 = 0x0000020f). Available machine support: ID (hex) NAME ffffffff Generic DT based system ffffffff Marvell Kirkwood (Flattened Device Tree) Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
@superelchi, could be my date/time modifications to blame for that error of mine.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
I got an interesting message today when trying to coldboot with previous version of NSA310S DTB, this happened with the NSA320S DTB also. I wonder is there a way to fix it? I can confirm also on my box. WoL works on "shutdown -h now" from Debian. LE: Testing the new DTB in a sec.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
superelchi, Haven't tested the WoL myself yet since i was discouraged about COLD BOOT no link on Debian. It's good news that WoL is working regardless. Just hope for a miracle and i'd be a super happy user of NSA310S. @bodhi, you're the one responsible when comes to miracles. I can smell it :))by JohnnyUSA - Debian
"Happy" that i'm not alone, at least i can stop trying to figure out what's wrong with my setting.. :) ..was about to go crazy and even buying a new router.by JohnnyUSA - Debian

I guess I ran out of ideas for you to try :) Yeah, it's hard to troubleshoot when you're not here. Thanks anyway, gonna struggle myself and hoping for success :)by JohnnyUSA - Debian

bohdi, tried the new dtb, same thing. At reboot (once booted from stock) ethernet works but if i shutdown -h now, ethernet died. I was thinking and thinking and i must ask you guys if it's possible to implement on stock FW some command to actually reboot the machine into debian_FW once the network is initialised on stock_FW? Like in: Power Down ---> Boot ZyxelOS ---> LinkUP --> Reboot onto DebianOS. Dunno if it's possible through a script or something. Also, i admit, not so elegant approach but.by JohnnyUSA - Debian
