Hello, I have the same problem like absintos but with nsa325. After updating the kernel from 3.14.0 to 3.15.3 following bodhi's guide (from "Updated 03 July 2014"), this is how the boot process looks like on the console: . . 7191652 bytes read 6445893 bytes read ## Booting image at 02000000 ... Wow, so it was the stick. I already wondered, sometimes the image loading failed with bad crc, sometimes it didnt find the stick, most of the time it booted. With the new stick everything changed: no crc errors at all, the stick is found at every boot, no watchdog issues anymore. I dont understand the issue completely: when a stick boots, the disabling of the watchdog should be done early eby ptosch - Debian
Hello, my goal ist to get a debian wheezy system on my NSA325v1. So I created a new debian on a USB stick with Debian-3.14.0-kirkwood-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 (15 April 2014). Hi All, as mentioned in the topic I need to know how to setup a toolchain or environment for cross compiling a Kernel3 for dockstar. Is there someone out there having a hint for this enterprise ? Bye, Peterby ptosch - Debian
Hello, kraqh3d, I never stated i would build constantly new kernels. If You read my first post carefully, You will see the the usb boot stick got bricked. And, according to my first post, I already had a backup image. Anyway, i tried vlads proposal, unfortunately the dockstar ignores my stick, though it is definitely bootable ...by ptosch - uBoot
Oh no ! After having set the arcnumber to 2998 now it doesn´t boot at all, neither from usb or Plugos ... First the LED is flashing green, then for a short while it flashes orange, then it is turned off and nothing happens, no network activity, even after switching it off and on again. What can I do now ?by ptosch - uBoot
Hello, I installed my dockstar to boot from a USB stick. It worked well but unfortunately the usb stick got bricked so I had to replace it. I fdisked an formatted it, then I restored the backup with partimage. I put the stick back into the dockstar, but it didnt boot from it. So I found a manual how to use a new kernel ( http://dev.shyd.de/2011/03/dockstar-no-boot-self-compiled-kernel/ ) bootedby ptosch - uBoot
