If you had some Rpi0, then perhaps you can repurpose your Dockstar as shown in my post on Dockstar as a host bridge for a Rpi0 configured as a USB gadget.by habibie - Off-Topic

I suspect the g_ether kernel module may have some bugs that causes the rootfs partition on a USB storage to corrupt in memory (RAM). You can use iperf3 to check your network throughputs. Login as root, run iperf3 -s as a server on either your NAS device or a computer, then on the other device just run iperf3 -c <IP Address of iperf3 server> to find out what your network throughput will be. This will at least tell you if the bottleneck is due to the network (which I doubt). OTOH, you may wanna read this post to fiddle witby habibie - Debian
Finally, I managed to fix the above issued. So, I ordered this USB Mini 5Pin Female to Micro 5Pin Male 90 Degree Angle Adapter and my Rpi0 fits to a Dockstar docking port as shown in the attached picture. Unfortunately, it does NOT work because the adapter is NOT OTG capable (see here on how to convert a non-OTG to OTG). I just received an ad-mail from MicroCenter and in it I found this WinBook TW102 10.1" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer (with an Intel Atom x5 Z8350 4-core Processor 1.44GHz; 2GB LP-DDR3 RAM; 32GB eMMC Storage; Intel HD Graphics) US $89.99 - US $4 (coupon) = US $85.99. I wonder if anyone has this WinBook and can run ARMbian.by habibie - Off-Topic

I just checked the ad and looks like the seller replenished with new stock. However, I think this is a scam. The tracking number issued by the seller indicates the shipment only weight about 1/2 lbs. This does NOT make any sense at all. The total weight of some Android TV Boxes + remotes + power adapters alone will probably be 10x of that. IIRC, the shipping weight on my 4x PogoPlug Pro from Adorby habibie - Off-Topic
