However, something keeps waking up the disk periodically and I'm darned if I can figure out what it is! The event appears about 4x per hour. I cannot find a cron job with this freby shirsch - Debian
Jeff, I have double-checked that I'm actually running your latest u-boot code. My understanding was that this version always checked for a USB based boot volume and chose that if detected. However, it appears to be alternating back and forth between booting from internal flash and booting from USB. What would you suggest I do in terms of troubleshooting? I have looked through the forum and cannot figure out (a) how one determines the installed version of u-boot or (b) how one upgrades it. Is there a page or link on Jeff's site I'm overlooking? All I seem to see are announcements of new releases and the initial install procedure (which of course I've already done). Is upgrade a matter of re-running the install script?by shirsch - uBoot

Hi all, and thanks to Jeff for the fine work! I have been playing with my new Dockstar over the weekend and things are basically going well (running Debian squeeze). I do have a few questions: - Where are the pertinent environment variables documented? I found some general references on u-boot, but it does not include things that I believe may be specific to the Dockstar class of devices, eby shirsch - uBoot
