Did you include the pull request that added MMC support to SheevaPlug?by rayknight - uBoot
The seller just contacted me and he made a mistake as only one of the units has the external JTAG module! I've purchased that one so it's gone now. Rayby rayknight - Off-Topic
The following is an eBay listing for the GlobalScale DreamPlug that also contains the external JTAG module for a reasonable price especially if you are in Europe - http://www.ebay.com/itm/GlobalScale-DreamPlug-003-DS2001-Debian-Linux-Plug-Computer-PathView-110V-1702/222623623117?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 The external JTAG module is almost worth the price byby rayknight - Off-Topic
The difference between the ix2-dl and the ix2-ng is that the dl was sold diskless and therefore has 1024MB of NAND Flash, while the ng was sold with a disk which contained most of the firmware and 1MB of serial flash for U-Boot.by rayknight - uBoot
That listing is no longer available, but it was enough information for me to find other listings. It appears that prices have gone up considerably on these as the cheapest I can find is $21.11 before shipping. I also found similar 16GB unit on Amazon for $30 shipped. I'm looking to use this with a PogoPlug Pro. Will post results after it has arrived and I try it out. Rayby rayknight - Off-Topic
There appears to be some type of issue with 4.12.x versions of the kernel on the HP t5325 as I've just updated mine an I can no longer get an IP with dhcp and setting the IP manually also doesn't result in a working link. One of the strange symptoms is no LEDs active on the port with a cable attached, but when removing the cable I get the green LED lit. For now I'm using a USB Etby rayknight - uBoot
I've already done a teardown of the AppNeta devices I have in order to create the entries on WikiDevi: AppNeta PathView m20 AppNeta PathView m22 I have'nt connected via serial yet, but they are essentially identical to the GlobalScale SheevaPlug and DreamPlug. So serial access is available. Rayby rayknight - Off-Topic
I have recently acquired a Ionics Cirrus plug computer, but have not been successful finding any documentation and or source code in my web searches. I have done a tear down in order to document the hardware on Wikidevi and it has some neat hardware. You need to pay attention to the following text found on the denx.de site you referenced: "Please note that U-Boot is highly configurable, so not all of these commands may be available in the configuration of U-Boot installed on your hardware, or additional commands may exist. You can use the help command to print a list of all available commands for your configuration."by rayknight - uBoot
I received my 2GB unit from the KickStarter campaign about 2 weeks ago, but I've been busy with other life issues so haven't had a chance to even hook it up. I'll be on vacation for the next 2 weeks so it will be some time before I get around to doing anything with mine. However, if you check the Armbian Work in Progress link at https://www.armbian.com/work-in-progress/ you willby rayknight - Off-Topic

Do you have everything in a single file system? If so you are dangerously short of available disk space. You could try running: apt-get autoremove apt-get clean The first command will auto remove packages that were installed to satisfy dependencies for other packages but are now no longer required. The second command deletes all .deb files from /var/cache/apt/archives and can free-up sby rayknight - Debian

I'm just familiar enough with Debian and Armbian to identify that all the boards that Armbian supports are either ARMv7 or ARMv8 which are based on either Debiian/Ubuntu armhf or arm64 repository. The kirkwood devices (which the Seagate GoFlex Home is one of) use the Debian/Ubuntu armel repository. Debian documents some of this at https://www.debian.org/ports/arm/ with a key fact below:by rayknight - Off-Topic

I made the changes to the board header file to maintain consistency with the pogo_v4 files. I have pushed to bodhi's GitHub repository and attached a binary image here for anyone else wanting a SheevaPlug u-boot more consistent with other images supplied by bodhi. This adds the 'mmc' and 'load' commands and has been tested on my Sheeva Plug Model 003-SP1001. See attaby rayknight - uBoot
So, should I make the changes to the board header file or to the defconfig file? Which is the preferred method? Rayby rayknight - uBoot
The link you provided was helpful. However using this I was able to discover that the .config file for pogo_v4 and sheevaplug were essentially identical for configured commands. This lead me to discover that the .config file is not the extent of the configuration. There is also an included header file that configures what appears to be the standard minimum configuration for a device. Since thby rayknight - uBoot
The latest MagicJack USB dongles can be plugged directly into your router, no need for a PC. They've been like this for at least the last few years. The USB is only used to provide 5V of power to the MagicJack and can be plugged into a USB charger. So you can use multiple MagicJack dongles on a single router, one for each port on the router. You are correct I have not been able to build u-boot from your GitHub source as I am missing the .config file. I have built u-boot from vendor provided source many times as the .config file was provided so all the was necessary was a simple "make" command. However since your source does not contain a .config file I must create one using "make menuconfig". The issue is theby rayknight - uBoot

Bodhi, Can you provide the .config file used when building the uboot.2016.05-tld-1.sheevaplug.bodhi.tar. I'd like to use it as a base for correcting the missing mmc and load commands. I tried using make menuconfig on your uboot source, but there are too many configuration options available and having your .config as a starting point would be extremely helpful. Rayby rayknight - uBoot
What would I need to change when building from your source in order to enable both the "mmc" command and the "load" command so it would be compatible with other u-boot images? Thanks, Rayby rayknight - uBoot
