Hi varkey, I've just tried out your 2.6.39.2 kernel with the same sad result -> no boot. Via netconsole I can set that it goes up to "Starting kernell ..." but when I check "nc -lu 10.10.10.4 6666" for the kernel messages to appear it stays empty. As I've already mentioned all 2.6.38.x self-compiled kernels work just fine. Since you also have a GoFlex Netby Vlad - Debian
I've been experimenting with hardware accelerated encryption via mv_cesa on my GoFlex Net but somehow I'm quite confused now. I'm not a cryptography expert whatsoever but after reading a lot of wikis and forums I found out that mv_cesa accelerates only a very limited number of ciphers. Here's a part of my /proc/crypto related to mv_cesa name : hmac(sha1) driverby Vlad - Debian
Hi, I wonder if someone managed to boot GoFlex Net (with arcNumber 3089) with a self compiled 2.6.39 vanilla kernel. I'm currently using this patch and if I compile a 2.6.38 vanilla kernel everything works just fine. But a 2.6.39 kernel always fails to boot. Are there some new patches necessary? PS I'm using the usual Jeff's guide, nothing special concerning toolchain etc.by Vlad - Debian
I ACCEPT ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY KIND OF DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR FROM FOLLOWING STEPS DESCRIBED HERE. YOU'RE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK In this posting I'd like to describe my attempts to get the most out of my GoFlex Net, which means UBIT v0.6, SATA kernel and Debian. This is definitely not a Howto where you paste some stuff in your terminal and get a working system. Iby Vlad - Debian
The information in this posting turned out to be mostly erroneous, so I decided to open a new thread concerning UBIT+ Debian. You'll find it hereby Vlad - Debian

Hi all, I'm quite new to this Pogo stuff and got my GoFlex Net on Monday. First, I tried to install Debian using the official method but there was a problem that all Debian squeeze packages were reported as corrupt. Luckily, I found shyd's post which allowed me to complete the installation without problems. The second big problem was SATA. As you all know, the official method doesby Vlad - Debian
