Now i use fdisk and delete the old partion and make a new pri partion then i format it with this mkfs.ext3 -L rootfs /dev/sdb1 And cd /media/root/rootfs tar -xjf Debian-5.2.9-mvebu-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 sync sync But i can't see it sync. Bodhi, Can there be some virus on the motherboard on the chip on it or something. i don't know. do you see something wrong with the read out from the motherboard. Then make a new ext partision with fdisk. then format with. mkfs.ext3 -L rootfs /dev/sdb1 Then make dir mkdir /media/sdb1 mount /dev/sdb1 /media/sdb1 And then cd /media/stb1 tar -xjf Debian-5.2.9-mvebu-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 And sync and then cd / umount /media/sdb1 then i move USB drive to NR10400 picocom --b 115200 --f nby AkkJaa - uBoot

Bodhi, Yes i discover or find out about fdisk here now. i used fdisk much in dos before. so right now i have use the fdisk to remove 3 partition's on the USB drive. and formated the USB drive again with new partition and now i extrackt the files into the USB drive again. to see if that help. Hi Bodhi, Yes true no USB in the motherboard. Now i have downloaded the rootfs. debian-5.2.9-mvebu-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 so now i will try to have it in a 16Gb USB menory stick. I have downloaded it to my win10. computer now. but move it to the debian 10 computer and try to install it on the usb. then the netgear box. But do i need to have the HD's installed in the box.?
