Well, I built the Debian USB per your instructions with the ds212 dtb. I then booted the box with the usb in it with the nsa325 kwb. Thanks for your help and patience. I may be able to acquire another identical machine, would it be possible to pull anything/everything needed of of it? I'm just throwing things out here.by itangoii - uBoot
If it matters I can escape out of the boot to an NSA325>> prompt.by itangoii - uBoot
Gave it a try, had to use the -p option in the davygravy article and used your suggested .kwb. The result is below. ./kwboot -t -B 115200 /dev/ttyUSB0 -b uboot.2017.07-tld-1.nsa325.mtd0.kwb -p Sending boot message. I may hove gotten lucky after 30 hours. Would you care to take a look inside this and tell me what you think? Especially the DS*.*.sh files. https://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/files/Synology%20NAS%20GPL%20Source/8451branch/hi3535-source/u-boot-mv-3.5.9.txz/download. Thanksby itangoii - uBoot

well, one step forward and two steps back. After trying the flash a couple more times the Uboot will no longer come up when powered on. Not a single thing displayed. Not sure what to try next.by itangoii - uBoot

Thank you both! I did some more searching and it seams that zimage may be it. I found more than one message saying they flashed zimage and rd.bin. This person (you will need to translate from german) brought back his DS213+ (Different hardware and addresses though) https://www.synology-forum.de/threads/ds213-stromausfall-bei-firmware-update.67253/ So I gave it a shot with your addresseby itangoii - uBoot
Attempts to migrate from another unit to this one resulted in a boot loop. After accessing it through a serial connection I was happy to see that U-Boot came up and attempted to load which ends in a bad crc statement and then reboot. Console output and printenv is below. I did TFTP into it and send the zimage, but the same result after reboot. I think that I may need to know what specific aby itangoii - uBoot
