Agreed. I just got 5 t5325s for $60. The eBay seller asked for $80. I offered $50. Then s/he said $67. I said $60. Then deal. No power supplies though. But I found pogo v4's power supply fits them perfectly.by syong - Debian

@bodhi & @Micky Wicky, I got kwboot working on OS X. bodhi, I do not remember I had install anything for CP2102. But checking the kext file shows its kext(Jan 16 2014) does predate those of the others(Sep 19 2014). I vaguely remember I installed some serial driver to install chirp when I played Baofeng UV-5r.by syong - uBoot
I can confirm Steve1987 that CP2102 works out of the box of OS X 10.10.3. bodhi, QuoteI think it will be OK to leave the jumper in while connecting serial console. But serial console input might not work. In that case, the jumper should be a pull-up resistor. This is because if you connect serial ports with a jumper inside, the 3.3v will short to the output pin of the other serial port.by syong - Off-Topic
@Joey, Those wires go to the serial port of my pogo v4. I use three pins to connect serial ports: ground pin, input pin and output pin. Just make sure input pin of one serial port connects to the output pin of the other serial port. @bodhi, You are right. Since the pin is the input, connecting it to 3.3v will not fry it. Actually the unused pin out of a 4-pin serial port is 3.3v. You can use aby syong - Off-Topic
@Joey, You did a right thing to put resistor in if you want a permanent mod. I highly suspect that such an once in a monkey year trick would work for other plugs. It is not difficult to try anyway.by syong - Off-Topic
bodhi, I am glad that you like it. The idea behind this mod is that if pogo v4 senses the input pin of its serial port is high(3.3v) during booting, it will run 1G instead of 800M. From such an idea, I should say: No need of the resistor, if the input pin of the serial port of the pogo v4 is connected to 3.3v when booting as shown in the attached picture. I also did some testing:by syong - Off-Topic
No need to solder, if the serial port of pogo v4 is connected to an USB2TTL adaptor as shown in the attached picture.by syong - Off-Topic
ARMv5 has no support for misaligned memory accesses. In such architecture, variable must be allocated at the address of multiple of its length. Hence narrow pointer type should not be converted to wide pointer type. There are two ways to align the memory: 1. Allocate wide variable before the narrow one. 2. Make a copy of the variable byte-wise using memmove(3)by syong - Debian
Thanks for sharing. Hand tools in master hands can do amazing things. Although I do not use ownCloud, I still learnt a lot from you to use the same principle to optimize any package. Cut the fat and live healthy.by syong - Debian
bodhi, First, thank you very much again for the new U-Boot. I have got all my pogo v4s running with your noble efforts. FYI, I simplify the U-Boot env a bit and it works for me. @wacek, The uboot is the same. Your output is from serial console while mine is from netconsole.
