If that does not work out, try 1. Removing file named "rescueme" in the first partition of your usb stick. 2. Making uImage and uInitrd in /boot on your usb stick by apt-get install uboot-mkimage mkimage -A arm -O linux -T kernel -C none -a 0x00008000 -e 0x00008000 -n Linux-<version> -d /<usb stick mount point>/boot/vmlinuz-<version> /<usb stick mount poiby syong - Debian
Using LED light off command to track it down?by syong - Debian
Just a guessing: Is uboot the same on both machine? And the environment such as: usb_rootfstype...by syong - Debian
I guess it is trying to get its ip. Do you have a dhcpd on your net?by syong - Debian
PS, Step 2 above may not be needed.by syong - Debian
Your uboot seems good, do not touch that. My suggestion would be: 1. Putting file named "rescueme" in the first partition of your usb stick and boot the original uboot. 2. Do the installation again without reinstalling uboot. 3. At the end of installation, generate kernel for uboot before reboot. 4. Reboot and enjoy.by syong - Debian

Install Squeeze then upgrade to Wheezy. See: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,11987by syong - Debian
Learnt from Jeff's script: 1. He used ntpdate instead of ntp, as ntpd is much bigger. 2. In the script for Squeeze: echo HWCLOCKACCESS=no >> $ROOT/etc/default/rcS 3. In the script for Wheezy: sed -i 's/^#*\(HWCLOCKACCESS\)=.*$/\1=no/' $ROOT/etc/default/hwclock All the above was lost after my upgrade. Add: FYI, I did sed -i 's"^\(.*dnssec-by syong - Debian
bodhi, uImage is much smaller for LZMA. The reason I use gzip is that the build got `out of memory' for LZMA. Here is what I have: (%3)(10:44)(punk)/boot> ll total 18344 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1178004 Mar 21 07:13 System.map-3.2.28-20130320-232852 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 105867 Mar 20 23:31 config-3.2.28-20130320-232852 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6507728 Mar 21 08:51 initrd.by syong - Debian
bodhi, FYI, I just did a native compile with your kernel patch on a pogoplug e02. The build worked fine after I changed the kernel compression from LZMA to gzip with your .config. Here is the time it took: real 468m17.204s user 387m34.010s sys 36m4.840sby syong - Debian
1. put deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian wheezy main in /etc/apt/sources.list 2. apt-get update 3. apt-get dist-upgradeby syong - Debian
With Jeff's script, davygravy's u-boot, and bodhi's kernel, here is what I got: 1. Seems black comes with Hynix NAND while pink has Samsung. (%3)(10:05)(punk)~> dmesg | egrep '(Machine:)|( NAND )|(Memory)|(Feroceon L2:)|( Linux version )' [ 0.000000] Linux version 3.2.28-kirkwood-tld (root@tldDebian) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Debian 4.6.3-1) ) #1 PREEMPT Sun Feb 24by syong - Debian
What you will get (which is luckily e02) most probably is not what they said(on the box). I guess this might be the reason for such a good deal.by syong - Off-Topic
restamp, To my understanding, machid=dd6 and the new arcNumber only work for the kernel that supports it. That kernel is bodhi's 3.2.28-kirkwood-tld. So, after dist-updating to wheezy, you might need to install bodhi's kernel before setting machid and arcNumber accordingly. That is the exact path I took. Cheers, Yongby syong - Debian

Already got one pink and one black e02s. Hope to be lucky again.by syong - Off-Topic
bodhi, Thank you for your kernel as it works perfectly on my two e02s for a while now. I just wonder why symlink vmlinuz and initird.img in the last step as I removed them on one of my e02 and seems does not make any difference. Cheers, Yongby syong - Debian
Here are the pinks: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/91034/ebay.com-pogoplug-classic-media-sharing-device-in-pink-or-black Hopefully they are E02s.by syong - Off-Topic
