May be this Azpen 7" HD Android Tablet - HD LCD, Quad-Core Processor, 1024x600, 8GB, Quad Core Cortex A7, 0.3MP, Andorid 4.4 KitKat 30 day Office Suite FREE - A742 $29.99 + S/H will fit your budget? The only thing distracts me with this tablet is it only comes with a 512 MB RAM!by habibie - Off-Topic

I wonder if a Seagate GoFLEX Home has a support for a SATA port multiplication. If so, I may contemplate to get this enclosure, instead of buying the original Seagate enclosure that is about $10. Can anyone comment on this?by habibie - Off-Topic
Is it safe to say both Marvell Kirkwood and NAS7820 CPUs (used in a Seagate Dockstar and PogoPlug Pro, respectively) do not have a built-in hardware floating point CPU?by habibie - Off-Topic

Hello Bodhi, Sorry that this is a bit off-topic. I was lurking around the Linux kernel v4.4.0-rc7 source and noticed the Network console logging support (CONFIG_NETCONSOLE) feature which allows to log kernel messages over the network once the networking module is up (nenuconfig is as shown below). I also read the linux-4.4.0-rc7/Documentation/networking/netconsole.txt and it mentions to useby habibie - uBoot

Does anyone here know if this M8S Android IPTV uses u-boot? It will be a cool device to invest if it does use u-boot. This way, we can configure it to boot an external OS, i.e. Linux, and use it as an inexpensive computer with an HDMI TV as a HD display.by habibie - Off-Topic

If you had a $50+ budget, perhaps this Orange Pi+ may not be a bad idea to invest. It has a built-in SATA port + SATA power. The drawback is no USB3.by habibie - Off-Topic
@JoeyPogoPlugE02: Thank you for the link. It looks good to me, except the price is rather expensive, unfortunately.by habibie - Off-Topic

I saw this Rpi0 @MicroCenter for a US $5 over the last Black Friday and was tempted to get 4 units (2 units/purchase for the price of US $5 each). Fortunately, I did not buy any of the Rpi0 mainly because I found out later it doesn't have a built-in Ethernet port. Of course one can plug a good USBNET dongle to it, but that will jack up the price to probably a US $8+. Double the amount of thaby habibie - Off-Topic
BTW, does anyone here know if this router is supported by debian?by habibie - Off-Topic
Until I know the capacity of its RAM/FLASH, I would let it go. I just don't feel like to use this device with its stock firmware, especially most reviews are bad. Despite all bad reviews, I had bought some refurbished Netgear WGT634U WiFi routers back in 2006 from a CrapUSA online store. It was well supported under OpenWRT and I managed to use for a few years as my PBX System (running on a vby habibie - Off-Topic

I saw this hot deal (a DLink DIR-836L Wireless N750 Dual Band Gigabit Router, 4 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Ports under US $16 -- after a $10 Adorama mail -in rebate). S/H will ONLY be free if total order is $49. So, either get two units (which rebate allows) or pay for S/H ($6.90). Anyway, I searched through Google and did not find more information that has been mentioned in this link, i.e. Ralby habibie - Off-Topic
