Digests flag is only for hashing and nothing else. Hashing is slow and I don't think it's a good idea to use with our CPU. By not enabling DUSE_CRYPTODEV_DIGESTS flag, we are disabling hardware encryption for md4, md5 and all sha. It might be for some others as well. Also I don't like hardware hashing that much because it can only processed files lower than ram file. If you trby Almaz - Debian
I ran another test and it looks much better without hardware hashing support. You get the best performance out of your cpu and hardware encryption. Here are my results openssl speed -evp md4 -elapsed 2>&1 | tail -2 openssl speed -evp md5 -engine cryptodev -elapsed 2>&1 | tail -1 openssl speed -evp sha -engine cryptodev -elapsed 2>&1 | tail -1 openssl speed -evp shaby Almaz - Debian
I had to recompile again openssl, something went wrong during the last compile. It took almost 2.5 hours to compile it on PogoPlug E02 but now it works like a charm. Thanks Bodhi, I did have headers from linux.org and that's why I was having troubles. Once I installed your headers, proby Almaz - Debian

I guess I'm doing something wrong. I've had that problem before with kernel source files. I downloaded the files from kernel.org and extracted them to /usr/src/linux-headers-3.12.0-kirkwood-tld-3 How did you install headers? What's the proper way to install them. I'm stuck with an error which can't find irq.h I already put the file in mach folder similar to the probby Almaz - Debian

Thanks for replying. I guess you posted the answer before I created the symbolic link and edited my original post. Now I'm past that problem and facing another problem :) It looks like it wants all .h files in /usr/src/linux-headers-3.12.0-kirkwood-tld-3/arch/arm/include/mach directory. I don't know why but I have to create a symbolic link for each missing file such as timex.h, irqby Almaz - Debian

I don't have setenv option. I can only use fw_setenv if it makes any difference. U-Boot 2011.12 (Feb 20 2012 - 21:21:59) Pogoplug E02U-Bootby Almaz - Debian

I'm using Bodhi rootfs for pogoplug. 1st USB with my standard OS and 2nd rootfs USB just for compiling apps. Is it possible to have both USB's plugged in and switch boot order by restarting? What I did I plugged in both usb's and changed the label on the first one to rootfsORIG. Rebooted the system but the first usb still booted up instead of the second one. The reason Iby Almaz - Debian

I'm using your rootfs with 3.12.0-kirkwood-tld-3 kernel for PogoPlug e02. It's only used for transmission, openvpn, samba, couchpotato and sickbeard. So far it's rock solid. Any advantages upgrading to your latest kernel or should I just leave it as is?by Almaz - Debian
I setup NFS using PogoPlug 02 and transfer speed from Windows to PogoPlug shows 13MB over 1 gigabit network. If I use samba then I get around 28MB write speed. Please share your experience with NFS and Windows.by Almaz - Debian

Thanks Dinjo. It works well except NTFS drives speed are very slow 6MB. A quick modification to the script now it's 22MB. Another problem which I noticed with playing udev my system becomes read-only until I reboot. Usually it happens when I hot plug and unplug usb ntfs drive a few times. For example when I try to install something I get. Awesome, it works great with ext2/3 drives but it doesn't work with NTFS-3G :( I'll see if I can find a work around with ntfs-3gby Almaz - Debian
Is it possible to remove usb drive without unmounting and plug it back again so it'll get mounted again to the same share? Created udev rule so my usb drive always appears as /dev/myntfs. I've been trying to setup autofs but I can't get it to work with ntfs-3g, it just doesn't show up in fdisk -l. Can anyone show an example? Fstab works great but it's not for me, Iby Almaz - Debian
Would you be kind enough to point me to the right directions installing Paragon driver or build Paragon NTFS driver for us? I already spent a few hours and just can't get it right. Paragon NTFS driver should 2-3 times faster than ntfs-3g Here is the install log error I'm getting. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z9yu65536yn79qv/paragon-ufsd-install.logby Almaz - Debian
Thanks for a quick reply. Paragon NTFS driver should be much faster compared to ntfs-3g from what I can read. I'd like to test it out.by Almaz - Debian
