You need to contact PP // Cloud Engines tech support and have the E02 de-registered from the old account holder associated with your plug's serial number. They are usually pretty quick about completion of your request, at least that has been my past experience. Logitech media server, Shairport client, Squeezelite client, Samba file server, Asterisk device and printer server. Nothing fancy but utilitarian and dependable. For experimentation with what I suggested, you could use SillyPutty or Playdoh - maybe put some non-marring masking tape down first so you don't have to worry about oil staining.by LeggoMyEggo - Off-Topic
If the acoustic foam does not work, you could try "mass dampening" which is a term that refers to if you add mass in the form of metal or putty to a flat surface that the added mass (weight) changes the resonance frequency of the flat surface and will either remove the resonance or cause it to be greatly diminished. I picked up a bricked E02 on eBay and was able to fix it with serial console. I thought it the appropriate time to compare the performance with my Pro. Here are some benchmarks for both devices using a Sandisk 16GB Ultra Fit 3.0 Flash Drive on both and then a 320gb 7200rpm Seagate 2.5 drive in Esata enclosure for the Pro: Pogoplug E02 USB with latest u-boot and 3.17.0 rootfs: root@pogopluby LeggoMyEggo - Off-Topic
I've got a Pro with some booting and nand issues that I promised myself I would give up on as hopeless. I'm booting it off of the specially prepared sata drive and when I start booting the kernel I get all the way to this: Loading, please wait... Actually I wasn't thinking about my special case board with the bad nand blocks. It developed other problems - I can get it to boot with the specially prepared disk but for some reason it can't fully boot the kernel with known good rootfs' both on usb and ide disks. bodhi, OK, I removed the preboot=run safeboot and I changed the usb_device and ide_device variables to be simply just boot_device. As you have noted, this only accounts for a single device being attached at boot time. I take it then that the scan disk routine you mention would be able to handle a multi-disk scenario and properly assign the device number based on the results of the scan. Iby LeggoMyEggo - uBoot

bodhi, Is there anyway to remove the ethaddr setting from uboot.2014.07-tld-2.environment.bodhi?
