As an afterthought, I think those hard drive/SSD power button units are the bees knees for obvious reasons, but I have a nagging hunch that a lot of people who use high watt power supplies may somehow be operating way out of the PS's efficiency sweet-spot.by JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

There's all kinds of software that uses a USB stick to Authorize the license so the software can be used offline. It's software I not only paid decent $'s for, there's only one authorization, meaning if the USB stick fails I'm out in the cold (making that nighttime or even winter LOL). SanDisk is definitely a reliable stick, as we all know you can run an OS for yearsby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
For my old Android tablet (still wish that could be flashed with some Linux); but lucky me got a $25 gift card at a hardware store known for the banjo music they can't seem to distance themselves from. But a 128GB card for $18 - and not trusty SanDisk... if we could know it was made by a reputable source that'd make a difference. https://www.menards.com/main/electrical/home-electronby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

If I had Prime (that's getting to be an old joke) I'd snap this up right now. As an audio guy I can't tell you how much it makes a difference when every non-soldered connection is treated to remove oxidation. This stuff is the fader treatment you'd use on most any potentiometer, rheostat & slider. https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-F5S-H6-DeoxIT-FaderLube-Spray/dp/B00006by JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
You guys are kings that walk with the common man :-). Strange but i tried cancelling because about 4 days ago it said I had 7 days left, and it billed out of my debit account today. But it refunded or so they say. And David, I hope I get a wife with that kind of faith in me. Hi all, While my pennies are likely good as spent this year, i thought to see if anyone else thinks of this place when sales hit? LOL Off topic in the Off Topic forum, I bought one of these KM switchers days ago and am really impressed, though I haven't tried it on Linux. As it's Labor Day in this moment, there are some serious sales for certain items especially smaller monitors at Wal Mart. One of those is this, a Mooka projector. The specs look good and lots of people like them. The reason I was bringing it up here, its there are other versions of this that are battery operated and still 5,000 lumens I think. It's got HDMI, USB, lots of stuff. It miby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

These are Prime deals yes, but I get Prime and cancel all the time. Even the 10.1" version of that Fire, all of a sudden you're at $109 (Prime Day) seems like a gouge. There are times I started a free Prime trial and what I then ordered turned out not to be Prime, meaning no help with shipping. But even that price quoted above is for aversion of this that plays ads during screenlby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
I'm not sure if I'll get anything, but that Fire tablet could be good. If it's flashable with anything that could be even better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TMJ1R3X/ref=ods_gw_pd21_dqc_block2_ox_en? Any other ideas, I'm all ears.by JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

This is a new one where I see things, tiny class D amps that actually deliver and more often than not have Bluetooth 5.0, from consumer-cheap easy buys to "higher end" models I'm fawning over. Class D amps have never been what you'd consider audiophile, but there are many pros vs cons these days. What about Motorollas with the projector? But then again I've been on the outside looking in the whole time, so really I don't know what I'm talking about.
