Hi restamp, Looks like it has got to jessie. Update: perhaps I've misread the version number. If you install and it ask you for confirmation then I think that was it. I said no to this option, but I believe seeing it as default.by bodhi - Debian
Hi ziggy, Your system info looks OK. You can proceed with the installation, however, I did not like the look of the output you've shown in step 6. So proceed but starting from step 6. And the expected output shoutd be like shown in the instruction: 6. Erase mtd0 ./flash_erase /dev/mtd0 0 4 Expected output: Erase Total 4 Units Performing Flash Erase of length 131072 at oby bodhi - uBoot

edinger, First, the approach to boot between to_linux and to_stock is a non-optimal technique. You should avoid it when possible. It is best to set it up so that you can boot to stock by removing the stick. That way it can serve as a rescue system. > 1. Kristof, Quotesh flash_erase This command is a wrong way to execute it. When you download a binary and want to execute it, cd to the directory where the binary is and: ./flash_erase /dev/mtd0 0 4 Quoteflash_eraseall /dev/mtd0 0 4 You should never execute a flash_eraseall like above. Use flash_erase only to avoid mistake. And flash_eraseall has been deprecated, too. With all that saby bodhi - uBoot

Do this for the 1st case with the missing 2nd HDD: After booted into Debian: /bin/echo 47 > /sys/class/gpio/export /bin/echo "out" > /sys/class/gpio/gpio47/direction /bin/echo 49 > /sys/class/gpio/export /bin/echo "out" > /sys/class/gpio/gpio49/direction /bin/echo 1 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio49/value /bin/echo 1 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio47/value /biby bodhi - Debian

@edinger, You are running stock u-boot with WarheadsSE's setup to enable switching beween Linux and stock OS. bootcmd_linux=setenv bootargs $(bootargs_linux); mw.l f1010100 0020c000; usb reset; ext2load usb 0:1 $(loadaddr) /uImage; ext2load usb 0:1 0x01100000 /uInitrd; bootm $(loadaddr) 0x01100000 bootcmd_stock=setenv bootargs $(bootargs_stock); nand read.e $(loadaddr) $(kernel_addr)by bodhi - Debian
@edinger, Do you want to run stock OS as full system, or just want to be able to use it as a simple "rescue" system in case you need to login to fix the USB file system? In either cases, you should connect with netconsole and get the output of your u-boot envs and post here. Joey, The problem with using Webmin is a lot of us here don't use it. So probably nobody has ideas why it did not work for you. Most everybody probably did this only when starting to play with Linux. Can you turn off that option in Webmin? and then set it up manually using instruction found searching the net, or use this instruction here. Dieter, It depends if you have installed new u-boot and flashed the default u-boot envs image or not. If you did, then more u-boot envs adjustment is needed to boot back to stock OS. An interesting issue: the NSA30S apparently uses the same mechanism for fan and temperature as the NSA325. So we can't control the fan speed. The system stat: echo "CPU Temperature" $(($(/usr/sbin/i2cget -y 0x0 0x0a 0x07))) "C" echo "Fanspeed" $[60000/$(($(/usr/sbin/i2cget -y 0x0 0x0a 0x08)))] "RPM" shows system stats without any HDD installed:by bodhi - Debian

bobafetthotmail, Looks like it has the same MCU controls and use the same nsa3xx-hwmon.c module. So you are out of luck right now. To use it, you'll have to go back to kernel linux-3.16.0-kirkwood-tld-3. pbg4 is working on this topic on his NSA320.by bodhi - Debian
