Hi binary, Please try attached fw. Please see if the brightness and contrast adjustment works. Do you have a name or a link to seller / manufacturer? Else it will stay acme_5... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Hi Kughifar, Interesting - a new resolution! I'm a little short of time atm. But I will have a look at your code as soon as time permits. FONT_SMALL and FONT_SMALL_REVERSE were used only by hackfins firmware. They seem to be handcoded especially for use on his blue background. Never used them in my menu. Up to now. :) superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Thanks for the info. So I will add the first version as "acme_4" to the list of supported dpfs. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@Nexus What about this fw? Does brightness adjustment work better? superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@Nexus Please try attached fw. Please report if the brightness adjustment works. Do you have a name or a link to seller / manufacturer? Else it will stay acme_4... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@Deamon666 Please try attached fw. Please report if brightness & contrast adjustment in menu works correctly. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@Rollkopf Please try attached fw. Just curious: did you really by 50 pieces of this dpf? superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Okay. So I will add it as kaiser_baas_n1879. Contast setting seems to have only a very subtle effect on most dps I have seen so far. But if the tables are available in the orginal fw - no reason to exclude them from the custom fw. Don't think it will do any harm. ;-) superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Fine. I will add tao_80013 to the list of supported dpfs. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Back from vacation, so here we go: @richard Please try attached fw tao_80013. Please try attached fw. Please see if the brightness adjustment works. Yet another one with a weird brightness control routine... Do you have a name or a link to seller / manufacturer? Else it will stay acme_3... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
FYI: three new models in svn: - delightdigi_3. - dinodirect. - estation100. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Hi, please try attached fw. Please test if the brightness control is working. Another one with a strange brightness table... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Glad I could help. So I will add delightdigi_3 to the list of working dpfs. Removing the - mostly crap - battery is always a good idea. Here is a tut (in german) how to to it. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
What hw/distri? Short howto for Debian / Ubuntu / Mint: Put dpf in bootloader-mode: press & hold RESET, press MENU, release RESET, release MENU. If everything went well, look for an entry in syslog like: generic-usb 0003:1908:3318.0007: hiddev0,hidraw5: USB HID v2.01 Device on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.6/input0 Than cd tools sudo ./hiddetach sudo ./restore.py ../../fw_delightdigi_3.bby superelchi - Displays

Yea, nice theme. Would you mind sharing your lcd4linux.conf? Still looking for some some good confs to include in dpf-ax (320x240, 240x320 and 128x128.) The current confs are only a "proof of concept" and really boring... superelchiby superelchi - Displays

@kodi Good price for a 320x240 dpf! Try attached fw. Please see if the brightness adjustment works correctly. Another one with a weird brightness control routine... "Resource temporarily unavailable" errors are common if your USB cable is bad or there are some problems with the USB port. There is no damage done. Just reflash the dpf. Bad news: does not look like this is an AX206 dpf. Even ProgSPI rejects the firmware dump as invalid. So: not hackable with dpf-ax. Sorry, superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Hi quincy, I had a look at your dump. Dosen't look very promising. :-( As identify.py said - this is no known firmware. It doesn't have the header and jumptables from the Buildwin SDK. I'm not even sure if your dpf uses an AX206. Could you open it and post a picture of the pcb? superelchiby superelchi - Displays

New version dpf-ax 0.42 now in svn. The lcd4linux patch was removed because the current lcd4linux svn revision (1200) has this patch already applied. PLEASE NOTE: Sourceforge changed the svn path! Hi ax206geek, Nice! Just some remarks: No need to include "dpf.h" and "intelhex.py". In "mak-dpf" you can delete everything between "# compile python intelhex ..." and "# compile ax206term ..." because dpfcore4driver replaces this. All you need is the "apt-get" and the final "gcc"-line. I would recommend to put aby superelchi - Displays

What does file say? On Ubuntu I get:$ file /usr/bin/aclocal-1.11 /usr/bin/aclocal-1.11: a /usr/bin/perl -w script, ASCII text executable So aclocal is a perl script. Maybe your perl install is missing/broken? superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Weird! That's why build-dpf-lcd4linux.sh did not complain. It checks for the existence of "aclocal" with "which" - so everything looks okay. Can't help you here. For building lcd4linux you need aclocal. And if aclocal does not run on you system... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Ah! Now I'm getting it. "aclocal" is still missing. Without aclocal autoconf/automake will not run and the files used to generate configure will not be updated. That is - for me - lcd4linux's fault because they include these "intermediate" files in their distribution, even if you have to re-generate them with "./bootstrap". Install aclocal and everythingby superelchi - Displays
