Hello Papa Oscar, do you mean you can see the eyes after powre on / reset and get a white screen on pressing menu? Or is the screen always white? superelchiby superelchi - Displays

@Papa Oscar Please try attached fw. @kroonen Looks like your dpf-ax installation is broken or some dependencies are missing. RomanG wrote a small howto. Maybe this helps. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
What version of sdcc do you have? Looks like 3.x - dpf-ax ist currently only compatible with sdcc up to 2.9x. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@kroonen Please try attached fw. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
FYI: new model "taobao" in svn. cuckoohello Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > But while I set the backlight to a high value or > just not config, the firmware pt824 works. Thats just luck. Your display has a different brightness control. If you would try to adjust the brightness in the dpfs menu with the pt824 fw, same thing will happen.by superelchi - Displays

Bootloader mode (menu + reset) is only needed for flashing the firmware. After the firmware is flashed you should see the eyes on power on. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@ Shae Erisson Please try attached fw. As far as I can see asx8051 was renamed to sdas8051 in sdcc 3.0. Should be okay to symlink sdas8051 to asx8051 and see what happens. :-) superelchiby superelchi - Displays

"linkdelight_4" committed to svn. Thanks for your suggestions. > add sample configs for lcd4linux There is already a sample "dpf.conf" in svn. Not very complex, but enough for testing. I agree that it would be nice to have separate samples for a 128x128, a 320x240 landscape and a 240x320 portrait one. If you like to contribute some of them - your welcome! 1. problem: Linkdelight is changing types faster than I change my pants. :-O Please try attached fw. 2. problem: Did you run lcd4linux as root? superelchiby superelchi - Displays
@olderzeus Please try attached fw. Your dpf has a funny brightness-table, so please test if adjusting the brightness works correctly. Do you have a manufacturer / shop link for this display? superelchiby superelchi - Displays
Strange. Your dump has the same signature as my dx104500. It should work. As a test I tried to flash your dump to my dx104500 and - not working! So the two dpfs are not compatible, even if the blit & initialisation code is the same. I will have a closer look as soon as time permits (don't know when - very busy atm)... superelchiby superelchi - Displays
The dx104500 is one of these tricky "frequency modulated bacḱlight" beast. Looks like your dpf has the same signature as the dx104500 but is not 100% compatible. Do you have a link to a picture of this dpf? Please post the original fw. I will have a look. superelchiby superelchi - Displays

@ c.dent Nice one! Please try attached fw. superelchiby superelchi - Displays
FYI: new model "carrefour_bfv151" in svn. I used the "table" variant, like the broken one from the original fw - only fixed :-). superelchiby superelchi - Displays

That was to be expected, because I did not implement the contrast setting. :-) The contrast setting routine in the original fw looks weird - if not to say faulty -, so I choose not to implemet it on the first try. Attached are two different implementations of contrast setting. Could you please test if none / one / both are working? superelchiby superelchi - Displays

@grouproot Your rgb-image is in the correct format. Works perfectly as splashscreen on my dx27893. But I know that there are splash problems with certain displays. Don't ask me why. All dpfs I have at hand work flawlessly. For the time being, I suggest to put your splash in the src/res folder and re-flash the fw. I hope to commit the code for your display tomorrow. Now I'm gettingby superelchi - Displays
@grouproot I will commit the new model "intertronic" to svn asap. Atm sourceforge will not accept my commit (500 Internal Server Error). :-( To build the firmware, do a "svn co https://dpf-ax.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dpf-ax/trunk" or "svn update". Build the firmware & flash it with: cd src make TYPE=intertronic clean all make download Please uploby superelchi - Displays
grouproot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is fwload a tool to upload the firmware? Last time > i used a windows computer and another flash > tool...
