I have seen in several places that the hardware checksum is slow and I can verify that it is
I have not found why
Can anyone elaborate

IIRC it was slow only on short packages. IMO extra context switching number eliminates performance boost on short packages.

I specifically am using the 88F6281
So is there a fix available
