NSA320 back to stock configuration
December 06, 2014 03:13PM
Hello guys,

I'm trying to get back my NSA320 to it original firmware because I want to sell it. I don't remember exactly which configuration I made because was a while ago. I get back the original kernel from upgrade firmware file but it get frozen after:

Starting kernel ...

Uncompressing Linux............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... done, booting the kernel.

Similar to this post: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,8716

Any idea how I have to procede to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have serial console? if you do, then post the entire serial boot log here, and also printenv listing.

As you can see I play long time ago with my env but I haven't a copy of the originals. Do you have a backup of it?

Thanks for your reply.

enavarrocu,

I don't have the NSA320. Perhaps other who has can post the orginal envs.

If you connect serial console, it'll be easier to see the problem.

Hello enavarrocu,

See bellow original env from my NSA320, which atm is 100% untouched. For now... :-)
However, I see your U-Boot has a different version and build date, and also teh boot log is differently formatted. Might be another revision. Oh, well, good luck....

Hmm, just looked over your env.

You want to remove the arcNumber variable and set mainlineLinux=no. The stock fw hangs due to these.
And if still not working go from there.

Vali.
