install noip2

I install Debian on my DocStar
Bravo for this script!
I'm new in Debian like to know how to install on my noip2 DockStar
because when I did: apt-get install noip2
Reading package lists ... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information ... Done
E: Unable to locate package noip2
but after I did or how to set my meter dyn dns address thank you
PS: and also coment change my static IP
JJE and want to know how to make to a program that starts automatically at boot ...

This indicates that there is no noip2 .deb in the repositories. You will have to compile it yourself.

in /etc/network/interfaces, change

iface eth0 inet dhcp

to:

iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.123
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
gateway 192.168.0.1

Adjusted for your network of course.

Programs to start on bootup are called from /etc/rc.local

even with this tutorial I happen not to install nor noip there is some order in tutorial not working
Otherwise when I run I NIOP, believing that it was not lair to be compatible with the DocStar
qq if one has already installed noip quil gives me the trick thank you
