I installed Samba on Dockstar and connected to my home network. It is also used as a CUPS print server. When I installed it a few months ago, I found that I cannot see the samba shares as well as the directories on MSSII (Maxtor Shared Storage II) from my W7 machine. The problem disappeared later. However, it come back again. If I start Dockstar with Samba enabled, I cannot see either Samba shares on the Dockstar, neither the shares on MSSII NAS. If stop the Samba, the MSSII shares will appear (of course, I won't see Samba shares). Anybody have experience with such a case and any suggestions to fix that? Thanks in advance.
