RTL8188CU not working in backtrack
October 09, 2011 09:50AM
I am new to Backtrack and am trying to install a realtek usb device with id 0bda:8176. I found some videos online about how to use the commands "make" and "make install" but I receive

make ARCH=i386 CROSS COMPILE= -c /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/build M=/usr/src/rtl8192cu_linux_v2.0_939.20100726 modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/build: no such file or directory. Stop
make: *** [modules] Error 2

Can someone please instruct me step by step how to install my device on bt3. I have no idea what I'm doing and I can't get it to work. I do have the cd that came with the device drivers (including the linux driver, but i cant figure out how to install it.) Please help!!
