Hi all, (sorry for my poor english, I'm a french guy)
I have a dockstar and I would to install debian instead pogoplug software. So I follow some forum's topics (yours too Jeff) and everithing was good until I rebooted my dockstar.
What I have done:
- found IP adress - ok
- activate ssh on mypogoplug.com - ok
- log in dockstar through ssh - ok
- modify update adress (127.0.0.1....) - ok
- verifying process, processor, memory - ok
- comment the line /etc/init.d/hbmgr.sh start -ok
- name a static ip adress for the plug on my dhcp server -ok
- format a usb stick on my computer for hosting debian - ok
- stop hbwd -ok
and after that, some topics indicate to reboot the dockstar . That's what that I do, but after that, my dockstar's LED is blinking on yellow and I cannot connect with ssh on it. (message: Connection refused). The same thing with telnet IPadress :
Trying 192.x.x.x...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
I've noticed that when I connected my dockstar behind my router, he was changed ip adress (but I still have ssh connection on it).
How can I boot on debian with a USB key If I can create this key????
Thank's
