Problems with emdebian vs. debian

Hi,

I'm having some problems with debian vs. emdebian (I suppose).
root@debian:/tmp# apt-get install perl-suid
[...]
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 perl-suid : Depends: perl (= 5.10.1-14) but 5.10.1-14em1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

It always tries to install ...em1, which I suppose is the emdebian version of the package.

My sources.list:
root@debian:/tmp# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://www.emdebian.org/grip squeeze main
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main

By the way: Is it save to mix embdebian and 'classic' debian packages?

Regards,
Hendrik

try to comment out the first line of your sources.list.
then apt-get update
then apt-get upgrade perl-suid

i hope he will replace the version from emdebian

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

The second command gives me:
The following packages will be upgraded:
  initramfs-tools libavahi-client3 libavahi-common-data libavahi-common3 libc-bin libc6 libdb4.8 libgd2-xpm libldap-2.4-2 libsasl2-2
  libusb-0.1-4 linux-image-2.6.32-5-kirkwood ucf wget

Is it safe to do this?

Regards,
HEndrik
