Trying to do a fresh install today and I ran into some strange script problems. I am a old linux hand but new to pogoplug. Can someone help

The errors are below

/tmp # ./dockstar.debian-squeeze.sh
touch: /sbin/08052012025455: Read-only file system

This script will DESTROY ALL EXISTING DATA on /dev/sda1

Any ideas why ar is missing and what should I do about uBoot installation failure? I formatted the usb drive with ext2 of 1.5G and a 512M swap before I plugged it in.

/tmp # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi0:rootfs 102.0M 11.8M 90.2M 12% /
none 61.4M 624.0K 60.8M 1% /tmp
/dev/sda1 1.5G 20.0K 1.4G 0% /tmp/debian

Here are my plug details

/tmp # uname -a
Linux Pogoplug 2.6.31.6_SMP_820 #96 SMP Tue Feb 8 12:08:54 PST 2011 armv6l GNU/Linux

I am seeing some strange errors. not sure if this helps.

/tmp # fw_printenv
Warning: Bad CRC, using default environment

I forgot to mention that it says POGO-B01 on the backside

The Bseries are not kirkwood based machines and so are not supported by Jeffs installer.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I really want to run debian on it since I am most comfortable with Debian.
