Boot LGNAS N1T1DD1 with Debian-5.2.9-kirkwood-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi

Hi,
I made a USB drive with mentioned file conform the recipe from Bodhi (thanks Bodhi). The harddrive of the N1T1 is completely empty. So I have the USB drive, but as far as I know you can't boot a N1T1 from a the USB-port.
So I'm a little stuck here.
Has anyone an idea on to bring my N1T1 to life again?
Perhaps follow the above recipe directly on the harddrive of the NAS?

Thanks in advance,
ToontjeHoger...

You could take the HDD out, mount on another Linux box, and create the new rootfs on it.
