Various terminal apps are available on IOS and Android such as ssh, telnet, sftp,.... But I don't know if anybody has written mobile app for netcat.

Thanks again. I found what I was looking for. Termux for Android has a package update system. Just was looking for the wrong program.
Unfortunately, I might have mucked up my uboot, because is no longer responding through netcat and no longer boots on the network. I can get a solid green led, but it acts like it is not on the network. Will look again at my log to see what I did and see if I can pull myself out.

Cool! and make sure that it is netcat traditional. For example, on Ubuntu the default netcat is different.

The kernel has booted. First thing to do should be to run e2(fsck) to check for file sysrem error when you can use a laptop/desktop.
