Verification Failed during uboot installation

Hi,

I bought an Pogoplug a week ago. While using the manual from http://projects.doozan.com/uboot/ I got the Error: (after typing "./installing_uboot_mtd0.sh"):

# checking for /usr/sbin/nandwrite...
# checking for /usr/sbin/nanddump...
# checking for /usr/sbin/flash_erase...
# checking for /usr/sbin/fw_printenv...
# checking for /etc/fw_env.config...

then I read a little bit in this forum and tested this command: "./installing_uboot_mtd0.sh --no-uboot-check". No he begins to install the bootloader, but he ends with this Error Message:

And here I am. My Linux knowledge is unfortunately very low. I do not know how to go on. Is there anyone who has ever had this problem and can help me?

@Gididi,

And as the warning stated, if you have bad blocks on mtd0, you should not install uBoot using this script. What we should do when given this warning is to check the running system dmesg to see if it reports any bad blocks. If there are bad blocks then don't continue the installation. There are other ways to install. And looks like you do have some bad blocks on mtd0.

Here is how I recovered form this situation: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,5728

Finally, if you can't recover using the info in the above linked thread , it is time to get a serial module converter such as this CP2102. Once you have serial module or cable, you can reboot, most likely you will be able to recover.
