Dockstar, new u-boot after installing openwrt

Hello,
I installed OpenWRT with this tutorial (german: http://matze.efreun.de/?p=103) on my dockstar.
Now I want to install Debian on an usb-stick.
Can i just install a new uboot (like that: http://projects.doozan.com/uboot/)?
